There is 0.72$ in pot and you have to call 0.08$ to see the flop. There is no force in universe to make you fold preflop here.

i should add though that although i see the point youre trying to make, i cant help but feel that its a situation where were going to be both out of position, and often dominated.

plus, just how good of a hand do we need to flop here in order to continue? top 2, set of jacks, set of aces, or broadway? im just not convinced that we hit the flop hard enough often enough to justify calling preflop into a situation where were going to be compounding our preflop mistake of calling when we more often than not run into the spikey brick wall of reverse implied odds

Personally, 9 handed, I'm folding AJo UTG.But this is 7 so it's a raise i feel, Mp2 raise is gay, btn and sb are there for the ride, it would be a shame to fold, because it's still "cheap" to see the flop..

13/7 is likely mining and loving life ip with super implied odds in a 3bet pot. You don't want to play a big pot with AJo anyway and all in liklyhood was always gonna be oop raising utg. 3better is fish prolly a big hand though tread careful. Only fold if you think it's likely you'll get stacked cos you have no faith in your post flop ability. I think you can play pretty straight forward lead on good flops fold to aggression. C/f shit boards. Don't go trying to make folks fold.

call unless you feel you have some stationy postflop leaks. price is too tasty otherwise

hero calls the min 3bet pre with a plan of 'don't spew post-flop', then closely observes the action on the flop

oh, it will be useful for you to predict likely holdings of villains in this spot. e.g. button is setmining 22-QQ, plus a little bit of AQs, etc. This will help with the not spewing part
