    Default AJ multiway line check

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from Play Online Poker, Site Reviews & Poker Forum | FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP ($10.38)
    CO ($8.82)
    Button ($16.06)
    SB ($9.90)
    Hero (BB) ($12.46)
    UTG ($3.97)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, A
1 fold, MP bets $0.30, 1 fold, Button calls $0.30, SB calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.20

    Flop: ($1.20) A, A, J (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks, Button checks

    Turn: ($1.20) 10 (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.60, MP raises to $1.90, 1 fold, SB calls $1.90, Hero calls $1.30

    River: ($6.90) Q (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.30, MP calls $3.30, SB calls $3.30

    Total pot: $16.80 | Rake: $0.76

My main interest is if anyone is checking this river as it is the best river card i could have hoped for, could we possibly squeeze more value out of this hand with a check raise.

I think bet calling the turn is best as i have the nuts and i want to keep the SB in the hand.

I mean after MP raises the turn we can expect him to be betting most rivers so a check raise seems like a better choice?

    Thoughts?

Bet bigger OTT - at least 3/4 pot

As played I would 3b OTT, it's probably the only way you can get your stack in. Also there are tons of scary river cards for your opponents (all the hearts, the other jacks, the other tens), and your hand is not invulnerable vs AK or AQ.

As played, if you bet the river bet bigger. c/r is an option too but you really can't be sure it will be more profitable than betting and there is always the risk that everyone checks behind as this is a really super scary board for almost every non nut hand.

By the way, if the action goes: you bet, MP shoves, SB calls, do you call? (and why?).

I could entertain just shoving the river.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Hero has the 2nd nuts, and having slow-played OTF (wp), the pot is too small for the hand.

PLUS a jam looks bluffy as hell and probably reps a bare K more often than not in a vacuum at these stakes. Villains might call with a bare K themselves or Qx, thinking you have QT and are pushing them off a chop.

Villains will level themselves into calling with worse here.

Also, the fact that it's still 3-handed makes it more likely you'll get a call.

Yes because i have the 2nd nuts, on a board where they will be shoving and calling with worse.

I can easily see looking to check raise the river. It might be better to try and lead out small, maybe 40% of the pot or so, and hope your opponent hit a hand and calls, or even tries to raise.

I probably would also, but it depends against who. If they're both rocks I'd have to think very hard before calling.

    No reads?

I'd just 3bet or shove the turn, both their ranges are very strong. Ax for SB and TT/KQ for MP make sense.
