    Default Agressive vs. Hyper-Agressive....?

Allright, I've seen it mentioned that some players are 'agressive', while other are listed as 'hyper-aggressive'. Since nothing is noted about how tight/loose they are, am I safe in assuming that:

Agressive - Will bet hard when they do bet.
Hyper-Aggressive - Will bet the bankroll on anything they do go in on.

    ...?

Hyper-agressive players are constantly making others make "all your chips" decisions. That's my take. Generally if you see someone who has touched most of the chips on the table, he's hyper agressive. And everyone is waiting to catch him. I had one recently. He went from 800 to 2000 to 1200 to 2200 to 1200 to 600 to out, basically that fast. On a 10 player table with 800 chips per person (8000 chips total), he "touched" 8400 chips in the span of 15 hands or so. That's a hyper-agressive player.

Or they bet EVERY flop they're involved in, complete with check raises with nothing.

    Almost forgot the perpetual PFR.

Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu are Hyper Agressive players. They play their opponents more than their cards. They have the ability to raise from any position with any 2 cards, so they are almost impossible to read. They are GREAT players, however, and will force their opponents to make a decision for all their chips while risking relatively few of theirs.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
