Default AGGRESSIVE BLUFFERS N NL TX

I wanted to get everyones thoughts about (in my opinion) the most dangerous player in a no limit Texas Hold em ring game. Heres my problem. I get Ace King suited clubs on the button with 2 limpers before me and so I raise 4xbb. The one player that I have a read on as being an aggressive bluffer calls me. The flop comes Kd,Ts,Td. I bet roughly 60%of pot and he calls. Turn is a 7h, he checks and I once again bet about 60%of pot, now he comes back over me with a all in RE-raise. Giving me 2:1 for my money. Now normally I would lay this down in literally less then a second. However this guy is a maniac when it comes to bluffing. So I do the thinkin for roughly half a second and end up calling. Turn is x, he turns over JT and beats me. He called my preflop raise with JT and hits a set on the flop. Should I just not worry about calling a bluffer when it cost me so much for my my money? I mean I had him tagged as something an so on that I made my judgement and lost my whole stack. Is putting your whole stack on the line for a read the best thing to do?

I don't think i'd want to put my whole stack on the line for two pair. one of them is a board pair even. i guess the big tip off was the call. you can't bluff call. you have to have something if you're going to call.

i'd say sure, call bluffers down. but he was calling you down, dosn't sound like a chaser, and you can't really bluff this way (i think).

sucks that he beat you, i probably would have called to, but i think the info is there that he had *something*

You will have a hand that you can win with. Just wait for it. However, you also have to know that this player loves slow-playing almost as much as he loves bluffing.

The example you game seems to be a real occurance, not something you made up. This is almost a standard example of how to spot a slow-play. It costs you chips. However, in late position, I may even have bet the turn with something that I can easily get away from. Depends on exacts.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

If I'm going to bluff with a medium pair ont he board into someone who's raised and bet the flop, I would definitely wait until the turn to make a big play to take the pot away (probably a min raise on flop then big bet on turn). But yeah, his play does reek of a slowplayed 10, but being that he's a maniac and could have a draw, weak king, underpair, or just a plain hopeless hand and be running a bluff against you, I don't think it's neccessarily a bad call. Since you were getting 2:1 on your call, it wasn't a poor call unless he would be bluffing in that spot less than 1/3 of the time, and if he was a true and relatively skilled maniac, he almost definitely would be bluffing more than 1/3 of the time in that situation. Still, you might have wanedt to wait until a more opportune time (i.e. no pair or obvious draw on board) before trying to snap off one of his bluffs.
