Pokerstove is NOT a tool that translates vpip's or pfr's into ranges for you. Using it at such will only lead to disaster. No matter what program you use, you still have to make the range yourself.

Which hands you add or remove when altering pokerstove's preset range however, is highly dependent on the player. You can almost always remove the junk like K6o though and replace it by something better...exactly what depends on who we're talking about.
