Accused of cheating?

I got accused of cheating by a player on PS and he was telling all the other players not to bet when I was in the pot. Should I have reported him to a mod?

Here's what he was chatting:
XXXX said, "sasquatch can see my hole cards"
XXXX said, "i'm not kidding"
XXXX said, "sasquatch is a pokerstars employee and he can see all our cards"
XXXX said, "but he's slow playing his wins so it looks like he can't"
XXXX said, "yea u see that"
XXXX said, "when u raise too much"
XXXX said, "considering the cards"
XXXX said, "like u absolutely positive u got the best hand"
XXXX said, "thats when u got to be suspicious"
XXXX said, "Ace high flush"
XXXX said, "and i had a flush at the same time"
XXXX said, "he's the rat at this table"
XXXX said, "don't get into pots with him"
XXXX said, "do u kno the chances of two flushes at same time"
XXXX said, "low"
XXXX said, "in fact i'm pretty positive sasquach is cheating"
XXXX said, "before u guys got here"
XXXX said, "there were a bunch of other folk here"
XXXX said, "and he took their stacks"
XXXX said, "like he makes moves like he can see hole cards"
XXXX said, "or he actually does alwyas have the best hand"
XXXX said, "how can he only go into pots he then wins"
XXXX said, "i dont' trust that kind of luck"
XXXX said, "the other guys on the table they didn't trust him either so they showed down, and he was rivering major cards"
XXXX said, "sasquach is a pokerstars employee for sure"

At this point everyone at the table left.

If you were to respond, I sure hope it was similar to the above. Pokerstars will know if you are cheating. So who gives a fuck what the fish think?

Being accused of cheating is a major compliment, IMO.

Spoon had something like this earlier, where a guy accused him of being a bot and would report him if he didn't turn over his code. He emailed Stars, and they said they investigated his account, that it was not the first time, and that he had nothing to worry about.

Like Stacks said, if you're cheating, they'll find you. These sites have WAY too much on the line (reputation wise) to get tagged with something like that. It took Ultimate Bet a while to get past their scandal, if they every truely have.

Yeah this stuff is fun. Don't sweat it, but don't reply to it either.

I wish someone would accuse me of cheating instead of " your playing too high a level, drop down .."

Celtic , you are cheating yourself by playing at too high a level. If you are winning like you claim at the moment it is more likely to be luck than skill at the moment.When the luck runs out and the bad decisions kick in you are likely to lose a lot of money(read this post .Hence the advice to drop down and learn at a lower level , the bad decisions will cost you less and with experience and reading forums/books you will hopefully make less bad decisions , more correct decisions , make money , rise through the levels and make money from skill , rather than luck.

I would certainly email stars and have his chat banned.

I like this response to accuser:

"If I was actually cheating, why would I be playing {insert limit here} when I could be making real money at the $1000+ tables?"

That or just switch tables... If harrasser follows you, then it's time to contact support...

yes, I have taken on board all advice and I dropped down to the lowest stakes.

Im sticking to 19 starting hands and making positionally choices. in all my games.

I'd report it based on the fact that a guy like that hurts our feeding ground. Sure you have to be a total moron to believe what he's saying, but umm... has anyone noticed who we make our money from? uh yeah, morons!

I'd probably respond to him something like, "I'm 14 years old and my Dad lets me play on Pokerstars with his money. Does it make you mad that I'm taking all your chips? Is that why you keep telling lies about me?"

Actually I didn't respond at all and kinda shrugged it off until all the players left then it pissed me off.

dont take it to heart...its just e-drama by some asshole who couldn't stand his chips going to you...you should post his name so we all can follow him around the games he plays and take his monies and say stoopid shit about him on the chat space....
