    Default AA vs fish NL2

Villain is 67/12 over 42 hands. One or two hands before this one I owned him the same way, bet flop, bet turn, check river and call his bet. I had 99 the board was K high, not really scary, and he tried to bluff me out of river with AT.
If I remember correct i also won some tiny pot against him a bit before that so at this moment I think he got a bit frustrated, and called again on very next hand.

On this hand I put his hand range on absolutely anything, but i discredit any premiums cuz he would most likely raise that.
I think i saw him float the flop with the most (all) of his range vs various villains. Not much worries me here except for maybe some weird twopair or straight draw.
As he continues on turn I think he might have some kings in his range now, and possibly a backdoor flush.

The only thing river completes is some lame 6 or weird twopair.

So, I'm wandering, do I ever, ever raise the river vs this villain with my holdings?

bet turn bigger, probably closer to .4; if he hit the k, hes probably going to call anyways, and youll be bolstering the pot for the river. this has the added benefit that it could potentially look like a fishy 2nd barrel, since if he put you on a vaguely tight range preflop, he might think youre being bluffy, and call with more gutshot type hands, or 2nd/3rd pairs.

as played, river checkraise to 2.2-2.4, giving him some room to shove over with tp type hands

I like a river value bet a lot more. I would not check raise with the intention of stacking off here when we have a flop SPR of 25...

Bet flop + turn bigger and probably just b/f river as well.

Obviously call river given dynamic. Raising is too thin as we don't know if he calls with top pair.

yeah definitely value bet river instead of checking it to him. checking it lets him check back a ton of hands which we beat and which call a bet. as played call.

Value bet river, but obv c/c as played vs this guy.

agree with others, aim to value bet 3 streets with this hand vs that guy.. call river, raising seems pretty thin..

If you check the river as played, you've let him check back when his heart draw didn't hit or when he decides, jeez, maybe I should reconsider betting now with my Q8 I was willing to call with. Basically with him showing on agression and somewhat safe river comes, there's no reason to think he'd bet and set up for a check-raise ... which would mean you'd lose value.

I might be wrong, but a probe or value bet (maybe 40% of the pot) might be enough to make him call if he has a worse hand (like a pair), and it might also be enough to reconsider raising you if that 5 did make a second pair.

    Does that make sense guys?

There was a great reason for me to check river. I was like 95% sure he will take a shot at it. Therefore he will be paying me some extra with all of his bluffs and weak hands. And also I'm getting cheap showdown if he made some of weirdo hands like random two pair (or a completed straight), which he would definitely raise me with if I bet.
