Default 77 Vs wierd floaty line.

Villain is 18/12/1.8 over 104 hands. I c/c the turn here for pot control and didn't expcet him to bet this river so big as a bluff. Is my line anywhere near ok here?

Did you really think you were going to be able to get like 7-1 on your call if you caught good?
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

Nope but c/f felt gross, I thought he could be floating here so was more inducing a bluff than set mining vs a percieved better hand. I didn't expect him to bluff the river so big with air.

Should I really be c/f this turn card, or is betting better?

Is his AF higher on the TURN than the FLOP?

    If so I 2-barrell.

If you've seen him float more than once, I 2-barrell.

I hope I'm wrong yet again so I can get some feedback

If he's likely to bluff the turn and has a higher AF there, do I really want to be taking him off his hand with a double barrell? Feels like this is something I'd do without any sd value. I guess it makes the river less awkward than c/c does though if I dbl barrell here.

It's hard to get to showdown vs an aggro opponent here.

What are your reads, is he a mass multitabler reg type or is he a nit? What range of hands are you putting him on?

I'd rather do at least 2 other options besides what you did on the turn.

I can see check folding the turn if you see you're beat there (depending on reads) but a check call probably isn't the right thing. He can bet with so many hands if he thinks you missed as well. He might just have a gut shot.

You could be beat here but I think you need to double barrel and fold to a reraise. C/C just doesn't seem appropriate since aggro is probably going to win it here (assuming he doesn't have you beat)
