Hi!

I was wondering why they call 6-max NLHE a higher variance game then full ring NLHE.

The game is the same... only if you think that first 3 or 4 seats have folded.

I get some pretty heavy variance in my full ring game (5NL) and actually have a more steadier winrate in my 6-max games. That is most likely because of the fact I get to play less pots OOP and less multi-way pots. I play about the same game last 6 seats and extremly tight EP in full ring.

So I was wondering why people calls 6-max high variance. Is it just the fact that full ring tables on small/medium/high limits are full of nits and there is more donks and adrenaline junkies playing 6-max?
