    MP1 is 8/7, 10 ATS, 4/4 c-bet over 207. CO is 36/18 over 22.

    Preflop: Hero is Button with K, A
    2 folds, MP1 bets $0.15, 1 fold, CO calls $0.15, Hero calls $0.15, 2 folds

    i am not betting here because of CO, he has a lot of Jx,7x,gutshots, small PP that he is c/c here. i rather check back.
    All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

    We have decent equity vs small pairs, we're ahead of gutshots, and if CO's range is that wide, then there's plenty of stuff he's going to c/f. We also have to discount Jx somewhat because he bets those when checked to a non-trivial amount of the time.

    I just bet the flop and barrel lots of things and just shove the river if it runs out nicely.

    I'd expect mp1 to mostly be checking his sets on this board and cbetting the rest, so yeah, check.

    ok, so we bet flop... if turn is not a K/A, what do we bet when checked to again and do we fold if someone else bets in front of us?

    This is a 3way pot and he's OOP. I think he's checking a significant part of his range that missed because he doesn't know what to do in this situation.

    I'd bet, expecting both to fold enough to make it neutral or +EV as a bluff alone. If MP1 calls and checks the turn, he probably has a weak PP (88-TT, probably) or is floating with AK/AQ (unlikely -- his preflop stats would indicate that he's nitty), but I guess we can't totally discount sets.

    yeah seemed strange to me as well, I feel it's obvious that MP1's checking range is definitely not 'entirely sets', and is probably even outweighed significantly by air. gizmo alluded to this.

    ^ b/c MP1 is 8/7 shortstacker who isnt raising a large range...so I doubt we get HU very often vs CO.

    That said I still 3bet and hope to get it in flipping for CO dead money with the TT+, AQ+ of MP1....but I could be way off.....I have been torched by shortstackers in the past.

    ya so the worst result is where we get it in against a 5% stack-off range vs. a 40bb stack with like 48% equity

    or we get it heads-up with initiative and a big hand against a full-stacked fish.

    yeah gotta admit ^this does sound like a good spot.
    Either way I'm 3betting. I think if MP1 was full stacked I would call but not here.
