5NL-99-Flopped set

    Default 5NL-99-Flopped set

Villian is 35/5 over 50 hands. Villian slow played nuts alot.

Only had 4.80 in chips but didn't get a chance to reload before hand started.
I believe my re raise pf was weak. How much should re raise be? 3-4 time raise? I realize I was OOP too.

After flop I figured villian had flush draw or A9 or A4 or 22+. I also considered he was slow playing AA. I didn't really think so here because when he slow played he would min bet until river.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($7.12)
    UTG ($14.51)
    Button ($10.17)
    Hero (SB) ($4.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, BB raises to $0.60, Hero raises to $1, BB calls $0.40

    Flop: ($2) 4, 9, A (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1.10, Hero ???

    himself fucker.
you butchered preflop pretty hard. I really disagre with your flop reads. He could easily be betting wide here simply because you checked to him. I'm not folding.

Because of the re raise amount or the fact that I re raised at all?

I checked to him with the intention of pushing on any bet because I was not folding.

both the sizing and the act of 4 betting I don't think were the best choices available.

And yah, check-shoving is alright, You could try to check-call him down. See if he'll slide his stack in as a bluff on some scarey turns.

First of all it depends on how he had been playing, i dont think he got AA, maybe AK, but not better. Maybe he got tripple 4's and might think you have AK or something.

You must be crazy if you dont bet in this kinda hands.

pf raise is fine, but the 4b is pretty bad imo. the guy has a pfr of 5% and im guessing his 3b is even smaller so you're behind pretty often here. With that said, i think he almost never has A9 or A4 nor 22-88

I think a good range is like JJ+ AQo+ and the only hand we are terrified of is AA. With your read that he likes to mb the nuts, he is likely waaaay behind here. 18 combos of JJ-KK, 24combos of AK and AQ. I think AQ may fold to a push, in which case 30combos would fold to your c/p and 12 will call. So i prefer calling and hoping he does the rest himself.
