    Default 50NL = $0.25/$0.50 or $50 max buy in?

Some people on this forum claim that 50NL means $0.25/$0.50, while others here claim it means $50 max buy in. Which convention should be used? On regular tables they are the same because of the 100bb buy in, but on shallow $0.25/$0.50 = $20 max buy in.

If you are asking about Bankroll management then I'd have to point you to the key word "Buy-in" however, if you are just asking whether 50BB tables of 50NL are 50NL, the answer is yes.

The 10NL shallow tables are softer than play money tables. You'd be stupid not to.
