If your opponent called, you show first. Although in practical terms it makes little difference, you should always be showing your cards first in a live game if you think you have the best hand, no matter who bet and who called (it's etiquette).

In Limit holdem, the first 2 rounds of betting are equal to the big blind. The turn and river are double the big blind (called a big bet). In No limit, the minimum bet is one big blind on all streets, but you can just go nuts after that.
