3-betting in FR

I've started playing some FR sometimes simply because I'm able to play a lot more tables than when I play 6-max, which equals to more $/hour. Obviously I can't 3-bet as much as i'm used to, and it i'm pretty unsure of if I should do it sometimes. So I'll give a few situations and would like some suggestions on 3-betting ranges.

1. 15/6 pretty bad post-flop player raises from UTG. I'm UTG+1.

2. 18/10 TAGish player raises from UTG. I'm UTG+1

3. Same player raises in EP, 1 caller. I'm in the BB

Also, any general thoughts on 3-betting light in FR are very appreciated. Though I doubt I'll be applying much of that since most of my Opps have a PFR of like 5.

you can still 3bet the same range, imo, at fr. you just need to watch WHO you do it against.

there are a ton of nit-Tags that will call 3bets, and a ton more that wont w/o a monster. find which is which, and 3bet the hell out of the ones that fold.

Can i just ask why not AK?
I see quite a few hand histories where people seem willing to put all their money in PF with AK yet you won't 3-bet it just because the guyt was UTG?

I'd say it depends on the limits. If you're playing $100 NL then maybe respect the UTG raise more, but if you're playing $25 NL i'd say a re-raise with AK is +EV.
Also if you only 3-bet in that position with KK+, people are going to start noticing and just fold at higher stakes.

I like 3-betting in position as it gives you more chances to make money with premium hands. If you just call and don't hit an A or a K you fold (or float but normally fold), where-as if you 3-bet preflop and he checks to you, you get a chance to take it down with a C-bet.

As for my views.
1: AK, KK+
2: AK, QQ+
3. AK, QQ+
(If TAG player is in LP with no caller, id' probably 3-bet with AQ+, AJs+ and JJ+, unless he's prone to blind stealing in which it's obviously any PP or ace lol)

UTG+1 3bet = KK/AA lolaments, but its true probably.

This is bad advice for the average or new player.
More experienced players may benefit from this, but I would even say you should be ahead of 66% of his range and in position, unless you are a good player and have quite a bit of experience in 3bet pots.

3a. maybe qq+ ak, but i'd be a semibluff and you'd have to check fold the flop a lot when called by the nit

3b. jj+ aq+

btw, your examples are kinda bad since they rarely come up

Yah, maybe. It's been a lot easier to adjust to LP raises since it's not really that different from SH, which is why I didn't include examples of it.

Because if our 3bet range is KK, AA we're going to get it in pre anyhow so we might as well see a flop vs his wider range and get it in (or sometimes fold), thereby maximising our equity?

you only win small and lose big. hence cold calling adds to your range versus an opener. It will also lead to your opp stacking off slightly light because you may only have QQ/KK and not always a set when they have AA

because it sucks when its obvious what we have?
