It is true that the big pots don't come from those bluffing spots. But you'd be surprise how many small pots you can steal on the button with a c-bet even at 2NL on PokerStars. Of course if you have a calling station at the table it's not the play. But when you're at a table for exemple where the few real fishes have just busted out....your left with the nittys, they will fold often to your c-bet. If they call on the flop, you simply let it go because they're range is higher than yours. And also they will finally adapt to your play. But you can run for a while stealing flop pots. It is very player dependent. | |
