2NL, AKo in UTG+1 facing UTG limper

Villain has only limped and called so far on all streets except on the river on a couple of occasions. Even when he flopped trip 5's earlier on, he did not bet on the flop or turn, only on the river. I think he qualifies as loose passive. My image was tight, since this is only the second hand I played out of 20.

Ranges for villain:
- preflop it is really wide, I would say any pair, any ace, K8+, QT+, JT, any suited connector > 56s. High PP's are unlikely in my mind because he would have raised it preflop(?)
- on the flop, I'd put him on Ax, and maybe any hand holding an 8, but then why would he lead into me instead of waiting for me to bet? Can't see him on a pocket pair, because why would he lead into me with an ace on the board. + he did no raise preflop.
- on the turn, I am really starting to fear an 8, but Ax still possible (including AJ of course).

What's your line here?

You can all but discount 8x due to the way he played flopped trips before and I doubt he will mix up his play (slowplaying big hands).

Effective stack behind on the turn is $1.42, I think you can value shove ($1.02 on top of his bet) because he will call with all Ax hands.

Thanks for your reply HoopyDude. I did indeed shove over his turn bet, and I was half expecting to see Ax, half 8x or AJ. I know he slow played his trip 5's before, but he may (rightly) think in this case that the ace on the paired board is a threat to his set.

Now I post the rest of the hand here including results because I have a question about Villain's hand: how often do you see such absurd play at the micro's? It may be fair to assume that your opponents are not very good players, but I think this case is over the top!? It seems to me that after the flop my hand is so transparent that I might as well turn my cards face up... When I shoved, I thought that he either was going to fold or I was going to get stacked. I am just trying to understand the thought process that led him to play like that pre- and post-flop... Know thy enemy!

I am still listening to comments whether some think my shove on the turn was maybe an overplay of TPTK? (against a normal thinking opponent, I mean)

Honestly at micros this is a pretty standard play by a lot of the loose spewers. As for over playing TPTK, I think you got your money in the right spot. As said before a TON of Ax hands will call you and yes you might get unlucky vs AJ and AQ in this spot but for the most part people will be raising these two hands pre. As played I think it looks good
