An ambitious player who has alot of time on their hands has blown through 10nl and 25nl in 50k hands, has just started grinding 50nl and feels it's a step up.

Is he better off studying his ass off and watching training vids or getting a coach?

I'd probably hold off on the coaching until your roll is larger and it's proportionally less, but there's no harm in doing both
