25NL - KK facing limper re-raise preflop

Tight reg limps in the cutoff and hero raises in SB. Villain has high steal rate but low 3bet and low cbets. This sure feels like the old AA tarp? Could villain just be going aggro with AK or QQ or maybe even KK as well? What's my plan? What I would like to do is...call the 3bet, check the flop, villain cbets, I shove. I could shove over him now but then he might fold JJ TT QQ AK so I thought this other approach might be of more value. Hope to hear some ideas. I'm happy to shove here as well...is it the best line?

your plan sounds good. i don't like 4betting KKs against players who never 3bet anything but premiums. A only stops this play 1/5 of the time which is probably approximately balanced by the 1/8 of the time that we hit our king and suck out on AA

Why would he FOLD QQ or AK? If he played them this way he thinks they're the nuts and will shove. I say 4b.

I'm shoving right here. I'm not letting him make any decisions post flop. Get him all in as soon as possible.

what is that? 74 hand you got on villain? Stack sizes arent ideal for 4betting, but by default I prefer 4betting over shoving, so he can still think he has some fold equity. so I probably make it like 12.

also you say he doesnt cbet a lot and your plan is to shove over his cbet. That's not very likely to happen + I assume you're not shoving on an A high board?

Don't make it more difficult then it needs to be. Just raise preflop and if they fold too much (for example only calls AA/KK to a 4bet/shove), raise worse hands more often preflop because they fold too much and exploit

With KK normally youre about a 4 to 1 favorite... Try getting all the money in before the flop given the action and hope you don't run into AA if you do that sucks but the play was standard.
