Default 20 NL HE, Overpair hand

Please critique my play. Villain was 29/18/6 over 30 hands, not much intel. I thought I might be playing against a set so I just called down as I was Out of position.

Raise pf is standard. OK on the flop. Why did you check the turn. I think this is a c/r for me. Did you check the river to induce a shove?

Raise more preflop, you're out of position and there's a limper. I like flop and turn, but I think you should b/f river because he's going to check behind a lot of hands that have showdown value but that you have beat.
