Default 2 pair vs Turn Aggression

Only been at the table for one orbit, villain seemed to limp call most hands. My plan on the turn was to bet/fold, however with 3-1 pot odds I made the call, not sure it was correct at all.

    Probably a standard hand.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    MP3 ($1.99)

    Button ($0.80)
    Hero (SB) ($2.14)
    BB ($2.49)
    UTG ($7.48)
    UTG+1 ($4.32)
    MP1 ($2.78)
    MP2 ($2)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, K
    2 folds, MP1 calls $0.02, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.02, 1 fold, Button calls $0.02, Hero bets $0.14, 2 folds, MP3 calls $0.12, 1 fold

    Flop: ($0.34) 7, A, K (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.26, MP3 calls $0.26

    Turn: ($0.86) 5 (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.60, MP3 raises to $1.59 (All-In), Hero calls $0.99

after you bet the turn you're already pot committed
can't fold, especially given the fact that he probaby plays a lot of Ax that has two pair on the turn

You're probably beat, but I'd call anyhow.

Villian probably has the flush, but he could be overplaying a lot of other things.

    very easy call
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

snap call. hope he flips over AxXs but we're too committed after the turn bet

Could even be AQ or AK who thinks you're going to 3 barrel so he's putting it all in. There's no way that this is only a made flush enough times to warrant folding with the pot odds you're getting.

mostly 2 pairs are not good enough but you have to call in this hand.

Easy call, I don't buy that he has the flush from calling a 7x preflop raise with suited connecters.

I dont see him staying in with pocket 5's after your raise on the flop...

    I see him with a A Q, A J with the Q, J a spade.

This would be a perfectly played AA or KK but most people would have re-raised before the turn...

I'd call, but agree that you're probably beat.

perfectly played AA/KK would be raising this flop, if not preflop.

I think before you bet on the turn, you should think about how likely it is that he's got you beat. I'll leave it to others who have a better idea what they're talking about to get into exactly what his range is here, but if you're thinking he might have had a flush draw, you have to figure a big raise is coming if you bet here. If you think he might be weak, go ahead and bet bigger. The problem with the $0.60 bet is that you're still pot committed if he raises you, and you don't have the fold equity you'd get on a bigger bet.

I might check the turn and see what he does. Of course, he might shove all in, in which case you're still in pretty much the same spot, but you have a little more information without having invested the extra money.
