Default 2 Hands (AKs & AQs)

Hand 1: No reads. I am pretty sure my flop reraise was dumb, but I felt committed. I suspect that is the wrong reasoning to use here. Also, PRF was my reraise too large?

1, There's a ton of worse hands that will felt this here, getting it in on this flop is pretty standrad. If anything your riase pre flop is too small with it being multiway i'd probably raise 4.5 - 5x to try and get this HU sicne we'd rather not be multiway with AK.

    2. I'd get it in on the flop here and get some fold equity. We're also favourtie against many made hands here, but obviously him folding is not a disaster.

Thing is we're not slowplaying here on the flop we're jus drawing to our hand which is bad imo. Thing is blank turns half our equity to win this hand and put us in a much worse situation than if we'd just shipped the flop.

OOP we just don't ever want to play a blank turn. Also, it's going to be harder to get value when we make our hand OOP so there's no garuntee we have as much implied odds as we think we do.

1st hand - IPITS. i like the raise pf. with a hand like AKs i want 1 or 2 callers which is what you got. i like your line in this hand.

2 - i reraise on the flop all in. you have a great draw and i don't see a point on holding out. i agree with carroters that even if he folds its not necessarily a bad thing.

Hand #1, check raised flop typically means TPTK is beat.

Hand #2, I'd build the pot more early on.

    1. pretty std. If he shows up with AT or a set here, its just unlucky and its fairly marginal for him to set mine here oop with stack sizes.

    2. 3b flop all day, you have lots of equity vs made hands. I woudl get it in here if I could vs a non-supernit. I woudl proba just lead turn too and bet more on turn/river. HIs range isnt just FH's here

The first one, In any other game I would of put him on any pocket pair over QQ or maybe Big Slick. But seeing how these are micro limits, some players will go in with any pocket pair over 8s and any A-8. So in this situation, I would say your hand is more than good and can reraise him all in.

2nd, You had the nut flush, should of reraised him on the river, a decent one but not too large to chase him out. He will be obliged to call and you will take down a slightly larger pot, getting the most out of each hand (or losing the least) is the key to hold em

Hand 1: there's 20 cents in the pot pre, so if you were going to raise pot, you'd make it 26 but since you're OOP just go for full 30

get it in on the flop, your SPR is slightly over 2
Hand 2: he has 72 cents left, so I'd either shove OR split my bets as 24 raise on the turn and shove on the river
when you raise 22 cents on the turn you MUST shove the river it's only half of the pot
but I prefer shoving the turn, we don't want him to get scared on a heart river it would suck if he folded trips or something good

Has anyone noticed that at micro limits that a min bet means monster? I have only played 2.7k hands but ever time I reraise a .02 bet on flop or river, I get killed by trips or better.

    Thanks,

Hand 1 is super super standard, although I see him showing up with a set a LOT here. c/minraise at 2nl (at least in my experience) is such a standard line for a set its gross, but he can have a lot of AT-AK hands too. Getting it in is fine.

Hand 2 I'm pretty much agreeing with what everyone says, just get it in on the flop (if possible) or at least reraise, you have amazing equity in this pot vs this guy and if he has a set/two pair/a big Kx he will get it in with you.

Barring that, you NEED TO BET BIGGER ON THE TURN AND RIVER. You have gotten almost no value by playing the hand the way you did. c/r shows a lot of strength, betting out gets them to call more often. River, you barely bet 1/4 pot. That is fucking pathetic. You need to be betting 70 cents or more here. I mean Jesus, sure he calls you with all kinds of crap, but you can get so much more value out of two pairs/trips/Kx.

    Work on your bet sizing.
