Default 10NL - QQ vs nit

SB is 34/14 over 44 hands, BB is 5/5 over like 80 hands, also note he's a shorty.

pre, I don't figure I'm much good against the nit shorty's range but like the full stacked fish so opt to flat the 3bet. not sure if this is correct.

on the flop now that the fish is gone it's just me and the shorty, his range is prolly like KK+ and AK, with AK having aight equity against me on this flop, so easy fold?

    Stacks:
    UTG ($13.13)
    UTG+1 ($4)
    MP1 ($3.85)
    MP2 ($10.13)
    kiwimark (CO) ($11.10)
    BTN ($10)
    SB ($10.43)
    BB ($4.40)

    Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 8 players) kiwimark is CO
4 folds, kiwimark raises to $0.40, 1 fold, SB calls $0.35, BB raises to $1.20, kiwimark calls $0.80, SB folds

    Flop: ($2.80, 2 players)
    BB bets $1.20, $1.2 to kiwimark ($9.9)?

Like I guess if I really think he's betting here with AK,KK+ then I should call according to the equity, but then he's got like iunno $2 left in a $6 pot, so I kinda feel like I'm basically calling a shove on this flop when he bets.

I don't see any reason to flat the 3bet and then fold on the flop . No one guarantee you that SB will call .

If you think you are beat pre against his range, just fold . Even if he have sometimes here AK , you don't flat 3bets in this spot just to avoid the A or the K .

A 5/5 short stacking nit will probably play very straightforward pre and have a fixed 3betting range regardless of the situation. Something like {TT+, AK} seems about right rather than {KK+,AK} like you said.

Since this is one of the best flops possible for your hand I'd just shove over and expect him to call with TT+ 100% and AK some %.

Any stats on his 3bet%? I'm assuming 0%

If not and if I'd seen him make a squeeze play from the bb ever before I'd be shoving the flop as I think his range would be wider than KK+ and AK in this particular spot anyway. As you point out, even if his range here is only KK+ and AK you still have the equity to call.

Any reads about his post flop play? His flop bet seems a little strange to me in that it is the same size as his preflop raise.

    I think it maybe break-even situation .

If I was the BB I would assume that hero try to steal here and after the SB called ( and we can guess that he isn't great player w/his stats ) I would squeeze w/99+ and AQs+ .

But we cant really know here what the thinking process of the BB. He is 5/5 and I think that from BB his pfr stat is even lower .

There is more votes for shoving so maybe I was wrong by saying fold pre .

At the bar drinking whisky with an "e"
Versus the short stacker I'm shipping pre, especially with the fish in the hand.

Most shortstacks, especially bad ones feel committed on flop with AA-99, AK, and maybe AQ. And they just shove it on any aggression regardless of possible overcards on boards or scary flops. Shove and pray.

I'm pretty terrible at cash, but i have to agree with ^.

seems like if you 4 bet your getting fish to lay down almost everything you dominate. he might call your 4 bet with 1010/JJ but your getting his stack on these types of flops anyways if he has those.
