Default 10NL Hands vs Calling Stations

All of these hands are against villians with
    vpip >40
    PFR <3
    AF <1.5

Some with 20 hands and some with 50 hands so no real reads

In my OP I have been accused of
"quit turning your hands into bluffs, "

"quit calling all in overbets/overbetting all in yourself w/ top pair hands"

Some of these are examples. Results are in the OP

    Hand 1

These types of players drive me nuts. Minbet monkeys.
If I raise and they have poop, then they fold... sometimes.
If I raise and they have a pair then they call... sometimes.

Disclaimer: I’m still learning myself, but no-one else has contributed so i’ll drop my thoughts on it.

Hand 1: Against a calltard that will play to the river with 2nd pair or any draw you could value bet your queens for ½ pot down every street. Against the other type of calltard (VPIP 40% but won’t call a flop raise without TP) I would have flatted the crappy flop minbet and snuck some money in down a later street. VPIP% is a poor indicator of post flop tendencies IMO.

Hand 2: Good spot to bluff, and even if they call you could still be ahead on the river (with straight and flush draws out there for them to chase), so I’d fire a smallish river bet on any card.

Hand 3: This is entirely dependant on what I’d seen them do in previous hands (i.e. what they would bet with here), but the low pfr & aggression factor troubles me. Their bet sizing doesn’t indicate that they’re trying to get their stack in, but given the low pfr% I’m not sure you’re ahead often enough to make this a call.

Hand 4: I’m not sure you’ve got the 30% equity needed to call this river bet, given that they called your flop bet. The only thing you’re ahead of is a busted SD.

Hand 5: I think you’ve invested too much in this pot to fold here.
Congratulations, you've won your dick's weight in sweets! Decode the message in the above post to find out how to claim your tic-tac

    1&3: call and call
    Hand 5: it doesn't matter, it's a 3b pot stack off
if you're not stacking off when you HIT, fold pf
    in fact shove flop

I played alot at these table stakes and had to adjust my play for these stations. I think you really need a good read on the villain to make any bluff. Most of these guys never fold 2nd pair, ever. At least in my experience.

    That said...

    1. Call. I laugh when people bet 1/20th of the pot. Are you going to fold? No way.

    2. With the kind of stats you posted this guy can be on any 2 spades, a 10 or maybe even 89o. This guys range is to open for me on the flop and when I am in doubt I fold.
However, if you think you can stack him if you make the full house, i think you can call profitably here. Your getting 3.75 to 1 on the turn (pot odds) and he has like 9 dollars left (implied odds) and your 4 outs gives you 10.5 to 1. To me this looks profitable, correct me if I am wrong.

As long as you folded hands 3 and 4 where you stopped the action then I like these. Flip a coin on hand 5 but I probably call. Dont think folding is a mistake though without a read he's spastic. I think iopq is right though, just stick it in on the flop.
Just dipping my toes back in.

Hand 1. I obviously called. He had TP. Later I found out that this is how villian plays his TP. Minbet flop, check, minbet river. Call any bet or raise on any street. Got some good notes

    Hand 2. Bluff worked

Hand 3. I folded (sorry iopq) as I didn't have any reads. As I found out later, he bet most of his "good" hands this way. More good notes.

Hand 4. I folded. He showed his flush. More good notes

Hand 5. split. Did I mention notes?
