what was your reasoning for leading flop as opposed to c/c or c/r?

I don't see a lot of merit to leading this flop, better to check and let him cbet air + protects our checking range. As played if we choose to flat his flop raise (3betting seems lolbad) then calling turn + river seems necessary.

just figured i could get calls for worse Kx and pp's, but i guess he's betting those anyways, should i ever donk this flop with air?

meh not relly its pretty transparent, i like snap raise when i get donked on dry boards like this and get folds all day. If you are going to donk air then you have to also donk some good hands otherwise your play becomes too easily exploitable...

Well think about this. If he has air you'll win if he doesn't rebluff. BUT if he has air he's cbetting 100% of the time. C/r the flop earns you his cbet as well. Of course there's merits to c/c as a float too.

Yeah same which is why I think OP's play COULD be good as long as we know villain plays like us.

thanks all, this is why i'm brutal at cash, (i know calling pre was pretty bad), but i really didn't think v batting flop was that bad, as i thought he would still raise air enough for it to be ok, but your explanations make way more sense.

leading flop to induce just isn't gonna have as high an expectation as taking a regular c/c line without history and reads
