Default [5NL] TT check back river?

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

    SB: $7.52 (150.4 bb)
    BB: $2.84 (56.8 bb)
    MP1: $6.26 (125.2 bb)
    Hero (MP2): $13.44 (268.8 bb)
    MP3: $5 (100 bb)
    CO: $5 (100 bb)
    BTN: $19.77 (395.4 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T T
MP1 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, 4 folds, BB calls $0.10

    Flop: ($0.32) 4 K 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.15, BB calls $0.15

    Turn: ($0.62) 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.30, BB calls $0.30

    River: ($1.22) K (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero ??

Villain is 71/20, fold to cbet 4/8 over tiny 35 hands.

Okay so I bet the flop and turn to get value from flush and GTSDs, 8x, maybe even some smaller pairs like 55-77, 99. It's also possible he has a king of course, or even a hand like JJ or QQ. When it gets to the river and the king pairs, can I value bet against this range? Or at this point is everything I beat just folding if I bet?

Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
Bet. That's the best river card you are going to get (other than a T) for betting 3 streets. Against this villain, it's not even close, as he will most likely still call loads of worse hands.

Or at this point is everything I beat just folding if I bet?
Depends on betsizing. But you can definitely bet an amount here that gets calls from worse.

Great river card for us so def. bet. The K + him checking is less reason he has a king plus we counter any of his 2 pairs that he just c/c the turn a small% of the time plus the fact he's probably been behind the whole hand anyways.

This is a clear bet - you're average 5nl fish is leading this turn if they've hit trips. Expect to get plenty of calls from 2pr hands that we beat and folds from flush draws.

Only time I would ever contemplate a check behind is if you're image is spew/maniac.

I hate both flop and turn sizing vs a fish with these stats.

I think the sizing is okay as long as hero is doing it because he believes villain is calling significantly wider then he would versus 2/3 pot. I don't believe this is the case in my own experience but I don't hate his sizing.

    Now I bet the river.

yer another 30 bet, think hes staying in hand being BB. may have a 8 or 4. hell fold to the bet

Reason I hate this sizing is because it's less than half pot. Dumb villains will consider this bet sizing to be the same as 55% sizing... half pot is what they see. So I think villain's calling range vs 48% bet is exactly the same as a 55% bet. Maybe we could push the "half pot" thing as high as 60% before villain starts to consider it "two thirds pot".

I'm just seeing at least 7% of pot in lost value.

I defs see what you're saying ong I can push the value margin up a little bit with my value bets. And yeah that's what I ended up doing was a b/f.
