I' m sure there's a shed-load of articles and good books out there that others can recommend, but the book I found good at an entry level for range, hud and board texture analysis was Phil Gordon's Gold Book. I don't find the book a fat lot of use now, but at the time it changed the way I thought about the game completely as I didn't even know about things like huds, ranges and Pokerstove and how to use them.
I also had a similar exp w/ this book. It help get ya going on combinatorics, using a range chart, its def a good book to study w/.
