I didn't need my hand to improve, I felt like I was ahead when villain checked the turn. I can't remember where it was but I remember reading/hearing somewhere about not betting 3 streets w/ like TP2K type hands, so sometimes I chk the turn hoping to get another bet or at least a call on the river.
I think AK bets the turn here. Even more so than a set.
Right, so if everything that beats you bets turn, then you probably have the best hand when he checks and the only reason to check the turn is to pray that he's going to bluff the river. So just bet the turn since you don't have any info that villain will do that. Even if you only want 2 streets, the turn's better than the river because of the FD.
