Has anyone else had this experience of playing terribly when moving up levels?
At least my $50NL stats in poker tracker look nice and neat. I doubt anyone can do worse than BB/100: (5,000.00)
I have played about 20k hands @ $25NL now and am fairly sucessful (11.5BB/100) and so I've tried $50NL too. My VERY first hand I was dealt KK and I'm just about jumping through the roof...end up going all-in pf and losing it all to AA! Welcome to $50NL. Now get out. LOL. I continued to play and made back most of it but so far $50NL did not strike me as being a huge leap from $25NL. The biggest thing for me was getting used to the larger bet sizes...otherwise I am still grinding it out at $25NL because it continues to amaze me what people will call me with. It's to the point where it is entertaining. For example, just had my 6xBB raise called by 67 os and I stacked him...he was LIVID. Uhm, best hand won? That doesn't seem to make sense to many of the donks I run into.
