Just wondering if I could get some thoughts on these hands its the same villian in both and he is bad running at around 51/5 hasn't been playing too agressively post-flop but trying to be daniel negreanu in the chatbox naming people's hands. The first hand preceeded the second by 4 hands and I feel I made a standard play in that hand flopped nuts bet bet bet, the bet on the river wasnt that much bigger than pot maybe 10 cents more and had a note that he wasnt betting missed draws IP so I knew I had to bet and I thought he might call with a K, anyway he folded and then asked if I had AQ in chatbox to which I didn't respond and he asked again and I said 98 of spades to which he got a bit arsey. <- this lead me to a decision in the second hand, where I thought he was just pissed off and making a stand, is this -ev for me to think that? Should I be taking into account things like his behaviour in chatbox and his mood etc.

    Wp first hand.

Always take into take into account stuff people say or the mood they are in - more info = better decisions. Just don't let it completely override all other things.

As for the hand have you seen him showdown any big hands, how did he play them?

The river shove is pretty unusual for a player with those stats, does he ever do this with a flush draw.

    JT is also possible.......

Definitely, player's mood, attitude, etc are important to consider. These factors can alter the way they play. But ask yourself, what kind of hands is he making a "stand" with?

An important question for me is; What range does he continue with on the flop? A wide range, or does he fold a lot? Asking yourself this can help you form a more accurate range as the hand continues.

Maybe on the second hand he has 98 of spades
