middle set isn't auto-stack in omaha, and sets are worth a lot less in omaha than in holdem. Seems you're playing with a bit of a holdem mentality.

hand 1 - any reads on villains? There are a lot of bad omaha players who are 3-betting AAxx always, and only 3-betting AAxx. Given his stack size, bu is likely bad. SB has some sort of wrap more often than AA so i guess you can get it in with K/Q blockers to the straight outs.

hand 2 - I don't like pre very much at all, like, you have a pair, an unconnected suited ace and you are not confident in how to play middle set. And you're deep. And deep + oop with a shit hand + without the initiative = You can fold pre just fine.
