Default My first big homegame win

    I won 27 dollars :D
The buy-in was 5 dollars each and I blew through one stack
so I ended up being 17 dollars up for the night, that is 3.4 buy-ins :D

My faith in correct play has been reasserted against a table full of loose-passives that sometimes turn into laggs

This one hand, everyone limps to me (5 handed) in the small blind and I see ATo
I raise it up to 4x and 3 call (loose passives anyone :D)
    The flop is 5-8-T
I bet the pot, one calls

    the turn is a 9
I bet slightly more than on the flop, he calls

    the river is a K
I bet half the pot, the guy moves all in
I am looking at a ten dollar pot and I have 2 bucks left on me
I had TPTK on the flop, the straight draw made it there on the turn, the king might have helped him
but since I have the best hand more than 20% of the time, I reluctantly call after thinking about folding for a good minute (I made some nice laydowns in this game before when I knew my hand wasn't good enough - nut peddling)
I call, he flips over A7
    I take it down

this is SSH for NL :D

It's nice when playing correct pays.

I had a tough one last night...I was making good bets to protect my hands, but people made bad calls and got lucky on the river.

It sucks when this happens but I just keep telling myself I'll get paid in the long run...and I do:

Yeah very true. I finally understand how to crush NL25
The same way you crush this game
But I was 90 cents down last time I played... very high variance and high profit game though
