Default Can someone explain what all the terms mean VP$IP, LAggy etc

Theres about ten different terms that people use alot in conversation and I cant always pickup on what they mean....

Can you guys reply with some different terms i need to know to cruise through the posts here and understand?

    VP$IP no idea
LAggy = loose agressive, which means someone that will play weak hands and bet them all the way with 2nd, 3rd pair??

This is how i play, i think its Tight aggres: is this right way to play
tight agressive = this is what i like to be, is this the best way to play. Play the right hands, fold mediocre hands preflop to raises etc. Chase open straights and good flush draws to the river if you think youll win if you hit it. Also when you do play a hand, play it aggressively, and force people to make hard choices on playing thier weak draws and 2nd pairs, or weak kickers. Also making the guys with the real hands rereaise so you can get out of the pot with your weak top pair or 2nd pair etc?

What about loose passive or something?
What is a calling station defined?
    VPIP 90
    PFR 40
    BB/100 30
    WSD 69.64
    W$SD 43.59
What are all these stats above ??
Alot of other terms i see people use I cant think of, please name some and define them...thanks all.

Sorry for all the questions, but a sticky post about what all the terms mean laid out would make it alot easier for the new flopturnriver readers that dont post much, but love to read the info. Ive played poker a long time and I still dont know what alot of that stands for and its hard to follow a post when there lots of those terms
Dont F' with me, I can grind it out like a bot

these are poker tracker stats. Pokertracker is a program that records online poker play.

Vpip- Volume put in the pot. It sums up how many hands you put much in the pot % wise.

    PFR- Pre flop raise percentage

BB/100- amount of big bets per 100 hands

WSD- % you went to show down (river)

W$SD- Win % at show down, ie if its low you are playing too many second bests or chasing.

so what does the VPIP really tell you about the how many hands you put in pot %?? How would you read that to mean something?

BB/100 - by amount of big bets, does it mean the amount of profit per 100 hands you make on avg?

if you have a VPIP if 50%, you are super loose. if you have a VPIP of 6%, you are super tight. if you have VPIP of 50% and a PFR of 10%, that makes you loose agressive.

bb/100 is how many big bets you win on average over 100 hands.

It is VOLUME in the pot..... every time you enter a pot...it counts. It guages how many hands you play by the number of pots you enter. Say you limp in from early position with 55...and it gets capped before coming back to you. You fold, but it records it in the VPIP because you put money in the pot.

Yes BB/100 is the profit you make per 100 hands in big bets

It's not volume it's volintarily. It's the % of hands where you put unforced money into the pot. If you see a flop from you BB unraised then check/fold on a later street without betting or calling it doesn't count.

Fnord is right it is voluntarily. The higher the number the more hands someone plays. I look for a high number as weaker players, play too many hands and go too far with them.
