    Default Calling oop in 5cd

What do you guys tend to do post draw in a HU pot when calling OOP with a medium strength hands when you both draw 3? It seems like the best thing to do is lead out when you hit two pair or trips and then very rarely do it as a bluff as well. thoughts?

    limit or PL?

I'd tend to donk/call in limit and probably check/call 2pr and lead trips in PL games, granted I never play PL. Some of it would be dependent on how thinly my opponent vbets post draw.

The problem with this is that your call predraw / check postdraw range is extremely narrow. In my opinion, a good idea is to often check-call with two pair, assuming your opponent is capable of bluffing. Or perhaps occasionally check-call with one pair hands against the same opponents.

Against some players, check-folding some two pair hands may be correct.

    I'm thinking limit.

Does anyone know the % chance that someone improves a one pair hand? The bigger it is, I think the more likely i would be to check-call rather than leading out.

Its between 6-1 and 7-1 to trip up or hit 2 pair.

If that's really the case, then I think leading is far better than c/c or c/r. However, I think the math is off. Off the top of my head.

    P(2pair or trips)= (2/47)+(5/46)+(8/45)= ~15/46 or ~1/3rd.

Which still makes a case for leading me thinks but its much closer.

sorry I might have mis-stated that. 6-1 -71 is for each isolated event. As in you are apt to hit trips between 6-1 and 7-1. You are apt to hit 2 pair 6-1 to 7-1. They are somewhere in that range.

    Ahh makes sense.

Well its actually really close then. 6 max it seems like checking is a much more optimal line to take, as people arent raising one pair hands much predraw. Although I think leading is going to be clearly more optimal when playing HU as people will raise draws and one pair hands pre.

    I found this link today.

It gives more precise odds for draw and other games. Make sure you are using that stats for 42 card deck (no joker) not that there is much of a difference, but just sayin.
