Default 1,797 hands, AA 14 times, still lose over 40BB

Man, got Aces 14 times of 1,797 hands for a net of +$249.00. You'd think that would make a nice little rush to build on. Wrong. Got raped from my big blind (-0.42BB/hand) and AK lost a little money. Nothing else went really right today. Net -$247.91 for the day.

    Food for thought...

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Did you play 1797 hands today?? I did over a thousand once in a day, and it was way too much. What's your average/day Fnord?

Yeah, if you didnt play so many hands you wouldn't have lost so much

haha, 1,500-2,000 hands at one table would take well over 24 hours.

14 AA's in a day, that's amazing. fnord had it 1 out of every 128 hands vs the statistical expectation of 1 in 221.

    I think I estimated about 225-250 hands/hour, playing 4 full tables--varies depending on other slow multi-tablers.

    Anyone have other estimates here?

I run about 70 hands per table per hour.

    So 4 tabling gives me 280 hands/hour.

thats pretty high. I average maybe 50-60 hands per hour per table with pacific and SB thrown in there

Consider that the smaller fishy sites have far slower software. Also, I'm playing lots of games with empty chairs or with a couple fish (I have position on) and the rest of the table is TAggs or Rocks. I really like that sort of table texture. It lets me play 2-4 way pots with the donators instead of 5-7+ way pots with the entire school. Big pairs are more profitable this way and I even have some fold equity.
