This hand confused the crap out of me.... Especially after the 7 on the turn... Thoughts?

You can comment on me folding preflop, but I'm not really interested in that aspect of the hand.... The other stuff is more interesting to me

bet more on the flop, at least PS, especially with two showing interest. Your stack will be low enough by that point you can just push the turn. The 7 may have beaten you, but I think you'd be suprised how often you're in against 2 FD, SD, and something like KT.

Plus, Q7 or K7 will usually re raise on the flop and you can get it in there.

In a higher buy in the river push is a disaster, but here I guess you can maybe get called by the KT. But you should get into the habit of check calling something reasonable in this spot.

Why would you check the turn with a DRAW HEAVY BOARD!!!
    30%

Still looking for my royal flush.

I agree 100%. Bet 1/2 to all the pot on that turn to see where you are at or just push.

Yes. I think they are on draws and weaker Kings.

Have to bet the turn and if you have any chips left on the river as well.

Why are we all telling the poster what to do. We don't know his pocket cards. He folded pre-flop.

I think TalonImpact hit the brakes on the turn because of the second 7 on the board and he wasn't sure if the two guys acting after him had him beat with three of kind so he checked. When he saw they checked and the 5 came on the river, he took a risk, pushed all-in on the basis that anyone who had a pair of sevens turn into three of a kind wouldn't slow play them on the turn.

lol wtf are u tlking about? poster had KQ it says right in the HH

By this the poster meant that we can say he should have folded pf but he really doesnt wanna hear that and is more interested in post flop play.

Only one player folded out of that hand. Jensosoo who floded pre-flop. Then there was some interesting action from TalonImpact who I don't believe is Phantaroth.

So until Phantaroth comes online and offers some calarification I am going to assume you just read the first post way to fast.

    I push that turn.
  10. #10
    Phantaroth = TalonImpact

And thankyou guys for the advice.

My thinking on the hand was... 4 people called me on the flop with a pretty good raise... I thought -someone- would have a 7, maybe K7 or Q7...

So my play on the turn may be was weak...

So anyways, everyone checks the turn so at this point I think I have a better chance of having the best hand... The river doesn't scare me and I get 2 more checks infront of me, so I felt my hand was strong enough at this point to push....

Anyway, I'm not going to dig up the results so I'll just tell you what happened...

I push, I get 1 Call... The guy turns over something stupid like QJ offsuit.

I'll just point out that most people would check K7 or Q7 on the turn.
  12. #12
Yeah... That's why I wasn't really sure what to do at the time, now that i look back I think a turn push is probley just as good here.
