Default Deep in $5k garenteed Will Hill torney. dealt AQ

I'm bottom of the chip lead. I have approx 18k, nearest to me has approx 23k. On the bubble of the final table. 11th place gets $50, 10th(final table) gets $100. winner gets $1,500.

I get AQ unsuited in EP...obviously everyone is playing tight as they don't want to go out on bubble. checked to me(by the 1 person in front).

do i just go all-in, no point raising and playing the flop(i don't think?). I could fold as BB is a way off. But also the ante is eating at me(100 a pop).

Is this an obvious push. I've been playign for 3hrs and really didn't wanna go out.

I would play for winning the tourney. As it is the bubble, you are only playing 6 handed probably... So I would push (and pray that no one has AK/KK/AA )

What are blinds? If they are 1000/2000 than it is a push.

I misread the origninal post, I thought you wrote I am the bottom of the chip stacks, so I assumed your M was kinda low.

Can you post the other chip stacks at the table?

Maybe just a normal raise from UTG, with 6 handed ppl will get the job done, but it depends on the other stack sizes, especially the button and BB.

If blinds are only 300/600 you should be making just a standard raise and then re-evaluate depending on what your opps do (based on what they have done before).

If the blinds are only 300/600/100, then you still have room to play with 18k, just open for a standard raise of 2200 or something.

EDIT: chard beat me to it

standard raise then play some poker.

maybe do some reading on inflection points and M to help you w/situations like that.

standard raise, a push would be justified if the blinds and antes are ballparking 2000 in this situation. read the texture of the flop and hope you got the best of it, provided there are any callers.

hhhhhmmmm..maybe i should have just raised.
I went all in. GOt called by biggest Chip stack at table. he had A-j unsuited.

Jack came on flop and that was that.

maybe if i'd just raised i could have got away on the flop. but then he'd have probably re-raised and we would have got all in anyhows. i know i had the best hand, but AQ is still a gamble.

really annoying.......i finished 11th. ah well. Next time Gadget, next time...............
