Villain seems to be a fish , played 5 out of 6 hands. besides that i don't have a clue about him since it's zoom and haven't been in a pot with him or seen him play one. ont he river i don't see him donking Tx or worse for value. he might have some flushes in his range/sets. I doubt he is bluffing here since i have shown alot of strength in the hand isolating pre and betting 2 streets.

Meh felt like a weak fold at the time but didnt feel confident enuf to call. In which case i prefer the safe route.

I'm calling given that he's a fish. You say he doesn't bet Tx for value on river? What makes you think this guy understands value? This is a half pot river bet and he could be blocking with bottom pair for all we know, with some retarded logic like "if I bet 20bb and he calls better, it's cheaper for me than checking and paying a 30bb bet". Certainly he can bet a ten, possibly even bluff his QJ KJ etc. Ofc he can also have A2, 67 or flush so I'm not thrilled about this spot, but I'm happy it's the right side of close.

given i need 25% to call vs his range , it was probably a bad fold in hindsight. I actually think i'm overall folding to much to riverdonkbets with toppair -ish type of hands in spots like these. Kind of like ur reasoning. thnx

i'd fold also at this stage.
maybe w/ some more hands i 'd be more willing to call
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

isolate with 4 bb, not 3, everything else is ok, call the river
If things were to magically revert to January 1st, 2003, only I could take everything I know now in terms of poker ability/knowledge, bonus clearing, etc., I think it's safe to say that it would be trivially easy to make over a million dollars.

I disagree - it's 10NL which I'm playing now, my standard isolation is 5bb - you're printing money isoing players like this so why not print as much as you can?

That's the problem of playing zoom. There are lots of regular players, and it is difficult to recognize fishes. It had happened lots of times that in that situation you are facing an overpair or a set, but I can't tell. The fact that he played 5 out of 6 hands tells you nothing, cause there could be variance in there. If you are pretty sure that he has nothing, call, but what can he have? a failed straight draw?? what could he be bluffing with?
