Default Day of the week vs profits

interested in your thoughts on this. I personally have never done well on friday nights and saturday. These are peak grinding times. This is over a sample of about 300 games per day.

I don't mind playing vs bad regs or generally weak players but I have such a hard time against the awful ones. I kinda level myself into playing uber abc becuz I can't make them fold..

It's pathetic that I'm even posting this given sample sizes but I'm really starting to wonder if I'm just wasting my time sitting at the tables on friday/saturday. It's also always the end of my run for the weakly leaderboards and I always get raped.

I do play a heavily read influenced game and know the player I'm up against at least in a general sense from HUD/notes if we have any hands at all. I usually have notes on 1/2 of the table by the end and 1 or 2 guys before.

Basically just want some reassurance.. maybe I should go scope some of you guys

[edit] so I just looked up taipan's stats and to my surprise the graph looked almost exactly like mine filtered only for 9 man sngs (friday and saturday were worst roi by a large margin)

    What gives?

That's really interesting. My sample size is much much smaller than that, so not worth looking at. But my gut feeling would have been that you might hit more casual players (and probably drunk players) on Friday and Saturday night. Even if you had more serious players coming in to take advantage, you'd think things would at least even out.

Dunno, beats me. Not at all what I would have expected.

no idea for SNGs but for sure MTTs tend to be the smallest and therefore probably toughest on Fri & Sat nights. Drunk players make sense in theory but in practice it seems like fish have better things to do than play poker on the weekend. Once i FT'd a 24 freeze on a friday night and the table was so tough I probably would have taken a 9 way chop.

If this post is a long way of saying "I can't beat calling stations..."

Wait... what? You mean normal people do other things on the weekends? Creepy.

O I C How do you beat calling stations anyways?? Whenever I bluff 32o they call with 42o.

Yea I basically needed to be told that and knew it when I posted

But I think I seriously do over adjust to these players. Kind of a subtle tilt. ie folding hands that are profitable opens cuz "I'll get called and . . ."
