Default Full Tilt Poker Weekly News Update 03/18/2013

    1. 5 Card Stud, Irish Poker and Escalator Tournaments now available on Full Tilt Poker!

After the recent client update, Full Tilt has introduced new features that will surely be interesting to the players, especially these three.

5 Card Stud is a very old and very well known predecessor of 7 Card Stud and only a handful of online poker rooms have offered it up till now, but now you can play all the 5 Card Stud you want on Full Tilt Poker!

Irish Poker is probably a lesser know game, but definitely more exiting than 5 Card Stud. With a mix of Holdem and Omaha qualities, Irish Poker really bring the action to the game!

Escalator tournaments are a great addition to Full Tilt Poker’s tournament schedule. The main idea is that the blinds start to increase slower as the tournament progresses, which provides a great deal of help to players at late stages where blinds will increase much slower then at the start of the tournament.

    2. Full Tilt Poker players' reimbursement begins after two year wait

On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that Garden City Group (GCG) is responsible for the return of the U.S. players money which they have now been waiting for two years.

The website fulltiltpokerclaims.com, created by GCG, says that the process of repayment will begin in the near future. Anyone can subscribe to their newsletter and stay informed about all the developments. Players will be given the opportunity to apply for reimbursement directly on the site, although the details of that process are not yet fully clear.

While no time frame has been announced on the start of the reimbursements, this is definitely a sign for the U.S. players that their long ordeal is finally coming to an end.

    3. Early bird

Sit & Go players can now earn double points on Full Tilt Poker, thanks to the Early Bird promotion!

All you need to do is be one of the first to be registered in a sit & go and once it starts you will receive double the amount of Full Tilt Points. Any sit & go from 6 to 18 players is eligible for this promotion.

To get the double Full Tilt Points, you need to be one of the first two players to register in a 6-max sit & go, one of the first three players to register in a 8-max or 9-max sit & go or one of the first six players to register in a 18 player sit & go.

Early Bird also offers the possibility to combine the double Full Tilt points with the Happy Hour promotion and earn triple Full Tilt points!
