$1/2 NL 6 max. Villain seem solid 25/20/3 but no real reads.
(110 bb eff stacks)

I raised 3bb UTG+1 , Villain calls in BB

Flop - Villain leads 2/3 pot, I call

Turn - Villain leads 2/3 pot I call

River - Villain checks, I VB 1/2 pot (55 into 100) and Villain Jams 160

Hero 105 to call?

If you have no reads, that he can play missed flush like this or w/e - I would just believe him QJ, 88, 33 or T9

- definitely not fine to fold it, but I think we aren't good here

- it would be better if you repair this hand, to get answers from good players (not from fishes like me)
- anyway pocketfours says that this is probably fold and he is really good, so I would believe him

this is actually sort of a bad river to value bet unless you are intending to call a jam i think..

but that doesn't mean calling the jam now is correct, but you are at the top of your range. the Q is actually kind of a bad card for you despite the fact it improves your absolute hand strength.

edit: he's not necessarily exploited the fact we're folding like 100% here. without a read he shouldn't expect any small stakes player to fold 2 pair.

M2M we could have QQ/T9 and the occasional slowplay. Against a good reg that you play regularly calling a shove with a small frequency is probably best.

I'm in the fold camp mainly because i so rarely see any kind of creative river bluffs at this level.

I don't like river sizing at all. Villain's hand is very polarized. A half pot bet doesn't serve us much good here unless we're TRYING to induce a jam. Might as well just bet 75+ here.

He's probably just c/f usually, and sometimes will hero call us or call with AJ/KJ stuff for any size bet, given diamonds bricked.

As played I don't mind 1/4-1/3 pot / fold otr just because nobody is ever bluff raising there with nearly a big enough frequency to make that bad. and he does have a bunch of JT, 99 TT and you can make him hate life at least. We have lots of nuts in our range as well. Even if he's super good I think it's a bad spot for him to c/r bluff JT or whatever.
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.
