AA 200NL
roughly 100bb stacks
no unique history, no estabished image for either player
no unique known leaks on villain
200NL 6 handed on Pokerstars
not in a vacuum
you raise AA UTG. a TAG regular who actually does some coldcalling with more than pairs calls on BTN, the pot is heads up.
Flop comes Q93r
what line would you prefer (turn/river cards don't greatly alter board texture)?
1. bet flop, bet/fold turn, check/fold river
2. check/call flop, check/call turn, check/fold river
3. check/raise flop, check/fold turn, bet/fold river
4. bet flop, check/call turn, check/fold river
5. bet flop, bet/fold turn, bet/fold river
6. check/raise flop, check/fold turn, check/raise river
obviously your answer to the question will depend on what kind of image you want that player to have of you. im particularly interested in detail what adjustments you would make if you take lines 2, 5 or 6. i read some cool poker content tonight and for the first time in a while i feel like im really making progress understanding poker.
*for those who dont play these games, a TAG regulars' bluffing frequency when you check to them on a board like this is extremely high
