Quite fishy, but I suggest you try the 100NL games if you have the BR needed since the play is almost as bad there.

They are talking about 25/50 blinds, so the buyin would be $5000.

I just leave the tables open all day and check the hand histories through out the day.
im amazed how ofted big pots are won by big hand vs semi bluff or total bluff.
this game is very aggressive, with almost every pot raised pre flop, and very little limping.

this one had me scratching my head a little...

Alot of these guys seem to open so loose, shortstack hit and run could prove very profitable.

    He's in. GL Aces.

Who is that guy NexEternity? He seems pretty laggy - I watch the big game on stars occasionally, but I haven't seen him before.

Strange hands. What would happen if someone plays a standard 15/8 TAG game at these tables? +EV?

Or is this just a irrelevant question because preflop stats don't matter much?

Aces: Why the short stack strategy? Skill level + BR is high enough to play fullstacked right?

The BR is big enough but the skill level is not. I don' t think I have an edge playing in that game full stacked but I know I have an edge shorstacked for some reasons I don't want to get into.

You can force someone into a bad posistion because they are playing a preflop game designed to win against other bigstacks...

Short stack ninja can be a very effective tatic... And actually give you a nice edge...

I wouldn't exactly call it getting owned. H@ll ran bluffs into 2 people who had the nuts when he was bluffing them. Lesser hands would certainly lay down there.

jackvance, the deeper players here are raising a very wide range preflop like suited connectors and such, and are thus being put in a tough spot when ilikeaces pushes over their raise with a superior hand.

When they raise to $200 with 98s, and you push all in over them for $1,000 ...

Even worse for them, they can know EXACTLY what your going to do, and they still cant do anything about it.

To play correctly against against you they would need to play incorrectly against the other big stacks.

So at the real high stakes, that's how people play? What are their VPIP/PFR stats then, typically?

(I'd want to go take a look at this, but my Pokerstars client keeps trying to upgrade and crashing)

Absolutely incredible. I wish I had the roll/balls to do this...potential goldmine. Play an hour a day and clean house. Damn.

    Love me for a season
what, waiting for a good hand then
pushing over a laggy raise, or raising
3X and pushing over a flop raise?
Maybe not easy in the sense that you
need big cajones for the variance, but
    technically it seems pretty simple?
  71. #71
Well, go there and make a living playing poker then.

Yeah, that 4-bet preflop by villain who leads the king-high flop is 'sort-of' scary. An ace on the river came and H@L still lost. I don't know what he had, but I'm guessing it was a pretty horribly played AK. Maybe even a JJ/QQ type hand trying to pick off a bluff, which was just silly in that spot. Other guy that stacked him was another 2+2 guy, but it's kind of hard to deduce what h@l had so I'll withhold judgement on that one.
