Standard raise Preflop facing unknown.
I was tempted to pull that final trigger until the flush came up, is that sound reasoning?

If you're at 5NL you will want to play more conservative than not. Completing the SB is causing you to lose major money.
You don't really play poker at 5NL as well, people make so many mistakes...
I've done around 35k hands in one week 24 tabling before and man is it exhausting and your game suffers from it, don't feel bad if you don't put in a lot of volume, 4 tables is the max you should do...
I agree, I think a testing C-bet can't go wrong in this situation. You're not too far into the hand where you can't get away and betting always seems to get better results than checking.
These still seem kind of high numbers. I've never played live, but has there been weeks where you broke even or even lost money?
This will probably help the analysis of my stuff.
I play all pocket pairs, I limp small pairs 99 under, in EP, and raise them in late/mid.
Otherwise I play JTs+ in late position
AJs+ in mid,...
Here are some of my stats for the various levels I've played at before.
I haven't looked at these in forever, but...am I way too tight?

I guess I'll just have to keep betting and hopefully someone hits something along the way.
I think my other problem is also playing PPs weak after the flop. I'll Cbet if they fold a good amount...
I disguise my hands as best as possible, but unless I have a drawing hand, I can't get my stack in the middle.
Mostly my problem is with sets. I try to build up the pot, but people will just...
Wow, is it possible to get 20bb/100 at 25NL for an above average player? I thought I was doing amazing at 5bb/100.
I like the idea of splitting the day in half of playing at a higher limit with less tables, and then dropping down one limit to massive multi-table. That way you can still get a good amount of hands...
It just seems that massive multi-tabling can't work past a certain level due to skill level of the other players. Trolls, stay away from this thread. I know you're going to post, I just want to...
Alright,
I'm tired of being an FPP whore. I play about 5k hands a day, but I haven't gotten any better since I moved up to 25nl, and even though I'm doing alright right now I know eventually my...
Hand 1: Bet that flop, 5nl people aren't folding for 10 cents, plus you have to build up the pot. Ship it on river, you probably have the best hand if he has that Jack.
Hand 2: Not much you can...
So shortstacking is actually more profitable at higher levels than lower only because you play more of the numbers of poker than actual poker. Gotcha.
Yeah, actually I learned something today...
I did move down, I'm not thick, I've been playing full stacked 10NL because i have beaten that and when I move up to 25 NL I'll play 100bb deep.
I gave short stacking a shot for 2000 hands at 10NL...
Well,
I can beat 25NL. I can give you the 6 hands that knocked me down 5 BIs and I think that going all in with a set on a dry flop is +EV, it sucked they hit theirs too, but I'm not griping.
...
So when is it good to do a short stacking strategy?
Well how can I get used to short stacking? I think it would be a valuable skill to learn at any rate.

Never bet less than 1/2 the pot unless you're trying to control the pot size, but even then what's the point in winning unless it's a lot. At 2nl people don't know how to fold so bet big, all the...
Here's my predicament.
I built up my bankroll to a suitable amount to give a shot at 25NL, unfortunately, variance hit then and after a thousand hands I was down five BI, but rather than piss and...
I went through my PT stats and noticed I was losing a great deal of money with single pairs. Should this ever be in the negatives?
Ah, good ol' variance. Of course it occurs once I reach 25NL. I would like to blame it on the fact that I just wasn't a good enough player to beat it, but I did the right moves, just had a bad...
