So my neighbor to my left is a funny story. He is a hispanic guy that won the lottery for like 500k after taxes. So he moves his family out of the gutter and buys a brand new house. They are pretty domesticated, nice people and all that. So throughout the year he would come over to my house drunk and want to bet on football games. We would usually bet 50-500 bucks on games, and i CRUSHED him because he only bets games "straight up" meaning no spreads involved. So i would pick big favorites most of the time and crush him.
He came over last night and wanted to bet me 5k on the GIANTS STRAIGHT UP. Booked and money escrowed.......WHAT A FISH SHIP IT!!!!!!

yeah go back to him and try to put more on it, like as much as you are comfortable with... and then if he will go more than that do it and sell off the extra action to FTR.

he payed cash for the house so that isnt going to happen, and he has a job as a truck driver or something. I wanted to bet as much as he would, and 5k was his max.

I learned my lesson with my bet against spenda.
You can still have a position, just not have yourself exposed on the losing side at all.
Especially when you have in essence
one bet at +100
and the other at +400

Manning fluked not throwing an interception on that drive. Tyree deserves a hell of a lot of credit if the Giants win for that ridiculous catch he just made.

That was a pretty sweet catch. Half right hand, half right side of head.

The fact that Manning avoided the sack on that play after being basically wrapped up makes it even crazier.

Your neighbor cost himself at least $15,000 by placing that bet with you instead of a book. Hoooooly crap.

You can blame this loss on Belicheck. Who tries to convert a 4th and 13 over kicking a 48 yard field goal in a dome to make it a 7 point lead. That was the worst play call I've seen in my entire life.
