I've been a member of this forum for something like 5 years, and I do not believe that I've ever made a post asking people to vote in some online contest. When people make these posts asking for votes I normally grit my teeth and do it, but I feel guilted into it. For that reason I hate to be doing this, but I really need FTR's help to get a really good friend of mine into the top 20 of this North Coast Music Fest contest. This could be really big for him.
Voting is super easy, all you do is enter you email, they send you a confirmation email, you click the link, you're done. No sign up needed, it's really that easy!
The contest has been going for almost two weeks now with each unique ip/email allowed to vote each day. Today and tomorrow are the last two days, so if you remember vote tomorrow too!

Voted, but only because boost is the shiznittlesnap. Don't particularly like the music, but I'm also not the best critic of hip-hop. An example is that I hated Eminem with a passion for the longest time, but after listening to Cinderella Man about fifty times I realized he's fucking awesome. Oftentimes I have to put in like a dozen listen throughs in order to 'get' a certain kind of sound
I'll have to listen through Prob some more though. We'll see.

Damn wuf, can't believe you hated eminem for such a long time..
Sure, many of his singles and albums are fucking awful, but his best work like It's OK or Drug Ballad is amazing hip hop..
Slightly OT rant: It fucking sucks how people are nowadays growing up on shit rnb/hip hop in the mainstream. I'm pretty sure the vacuous narcissistic naive outlook this stuff solely promotes rubs off on the people who listen to it and fucks up our culture. I've seen quite a few prospective rappers/hip hop artists working on their material and it's so hard for them to get beyond the popular traps of boring commentary on love life and/or shit delusional brags.

thanks for all the votes guys! Its definitely a super close race right now. I do wish I had posted this earlier, but would you guys have really wanted me hounding you for 2 weeks to vote? Glad people are liking the music though ftmp, that's what really matters. As for the contest, its a really close race, but I really think ProbCause has a good chance to hold onto his top 20 spot, especially with our help.

btw wuf, its reeeeally hard for me to pick a favorite track. I think its a really solid album, and like all solid albums its hard to pinpoint one specific track as a favorite. That being said though, the sample on day dreams is so sick, and Prob does a really good job putting lyrics to it. But if I'm in the mood to crank the amp to 11, I'll throw on blog rap cuz that shit just wangs.
Broadway, Now You Know, and Popular Demand are also stand out tracks on a album of stand out tracks imo.
