    flop sets, get paid...

Andrew Kerstine was reduced to just 10,000 when he couldn't beat Hope Williams' for two pair at the end of a board.
And so it was that Kerstine found himself all in a hand or two later, and up against Terrence Chan and Adrian Dresel-Velasquez. By the time the 2c} board had run out, Kerstine hadn't a hope - his were no good as Chan turned over which were in turn no good against Dresel-Velasquez' which had made a set.
    Kerstine duly hit the rail.

It has been a long, long day and the current plan is to quit after this level, whether or not we manage to make it to a final. Poker players need their beauty sleep, too.

    Hit #2
The very next hand, Kapalas opened from the cutoff but faced a reraise from Adrian Dresel-Velasquez in the small blind.
    Flop:
It looked as though Dresel-Velasquez bet out and Kapalas called, although it all happened at lightning speed. Either way, only two bets in total found their way into the pot on the flop. But on the turn...
    Turn:
Dresel-Velasquez bet out and this time Kapalas tanked for a while before raising. Back to Dresel-Velasquez, who swiftly reraised. Kapalas called and they headed to the river, the pot by now massive.
    River:
Dresel-Velasquez bet out again and Kapalas sighed before making the call. Dresel-Velasquez had a look of complete innocence on his face as he flipped for a full house. Kapalas mucked and was down to 278,000.

yeah I got reamed at the final table. PokerNews didn't report very well on my hands - I had QQ < JJ + 99 and AA < 99 which basically took me out (440k pot).

yeah I don't really get it. If they missed those key hands where chard lost all his chips, what the heck are they doing the entire time? And a lot of the times their hands are missing half the action. How? It would be nice to get some good live reporting.

Last I heard the WSOP is not allowing any of the media sites other than pokernews to report more than one hand an hour. So you wouldn't be able to anyways.

Pokernews has exclusive media rights so I am guessing they are pressuring the WSOP to keep the other media outlets at bay. I would be fine with that, if pokernews was doing a better job - but they aren't.

The live feed stuff is more of a cost/interest issue I am guessing. Espn has to pay for cameras, mic guys, and announcers when they do live feeds and I think they probably feel it is not worth their time or effort to do so given the limited pool who actually want to watch.

remember how terrible it was when nuts was at the FT, they play by play was almost always off, raises called limps, missed 3 bets etc. I can't imagine most people came back after watching the first time.

Wickedchopspoker.com is reporting that four events are planned for live streaming on ESPN3, starting on June 26 with a $2,500 event. After that, final tables will be streamed on June 27, June 30 and July 3.
