Who would be interested in a one chapter-a-week type study group with discussion for the book NLHE Theory and Practice?

I don't have the book, so I wouldn't be interested in that, but I'd be hugely interested in a Professional No Limit Holdem v 1 study group, and massively more interested in a Small Stakes No Limit Hold em study group. Everyone needs to read SSNL, it's excellent.

This sounds like a great idea. Give people ~1 week to get the book imo. I have it ldfo. I'll reread the chapters to comment as well.

Spoon for mod!

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

I have a good conditioned copy of the book if someone wants to buy it from me for like $12 including shipping (in the US). I can ship ASAP...

I have lots of study material I'm trying to get through now, but if there's lively discussion on NLHE T&P I'm likely to also chime in.

Edit: Sorry, against forum rules. Feel free to PM Donachello or ask in IRC or something instead. -spoonitnow

My bad. It occurred to me after I posted that this was probably the case. But yeah, if anyone needs the book I'll probably be able to help you out.

know the enemy and know yourself, and in 100 battles you will never be in peril.

know yourself but ignorant of the enemy, your chances of winning are half.

if ignorant of yourself and of your enemy and you will always be in danger.

I'm pretty sure you will have it under control by now anyway! if anyone else happens to be in dunedin, new zealand and prefers to read books rather than computer screens, flick me a pm.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
