Table limits vs. Players' skills

I had a pretty good session (i.e. profitable) at Commerce Casino on Saturday. I was sitting at a 2-4 limit table and as expected, three or four players on the table were really poor. They were the definition of no fold'em hold'em. At what table minimums do players start to get better?

BTW, I love the big chicks!!! Won the pot with that three or four times!

I've played 3-6 at Hollywood Park and 4-8 in Vegas. In both cases the players still seem to be very poor. I'm not sure when they start getting better.

it's been my experience that there can be good players at any limit. often times players who are good at lower limit games are too timid in the bigger games and bigger limit players are too loose in the smaller limit games.

I hear that even at 5-10 and sometimes 10-20 you get players that don't know what they are doing, sometimes you get the rare fish at the 30-60 table that everyone eats as if they are parasite or something, my rule a thumb, the higher the stacks the more people play bettor (unless they just have money to burn and are high rollers or something). I have heard that it starts tightening up once you hit about 10-20 or 20-40 I do believe. With no limit I’m not sure that's a completely different story.
