im talking about my personality as a player. for most of my history, i REALLY didnt want to lose, so i would play very aggressively and get people to follow my lead. this isn't a good strategy for the village, and it's probably not a good strategy for my own ability to read, but it was something i was comfortable with.

by now im basically "over" werewolf. this game has been a sort of "prove to myself" type of thing. after the game where boog me monstr and daven were wolves, even though i was doomed from the start, i feel like i played a stronger wolf game than should have been expected, i felt satisfied with what ive accomplished in werewolf.

so now im here for fun, not to boost my ego by adding to the kill column. if im in f3 (that means final three right?) and i bold the other villager and we lose, im not going to lose any sleep at night. two years ago i would have.

That's a pretty bizarre thing for a villager to say there

Actually, I think it's a healthy thing to do. I play for fun and try to win, but I don't beat myself up over it any more if I lose.

I do have to say though, that the other Wuf style was more entertaining.

i ascertained that much but the bigger issue is that this doesn't prevent him from being a wolf

i know on other sites i've played on i've seen some weird-thinking heteroclitic players act doofy and everyone just goes "oh that's [player] being [player] don't worry about it" but that doesn't change that they rand wolf sometimes

but i'm not too concerned, one of the issues with being that sort of player is that you are always in the PoE and in a game where we are this ahead i doubt he could ever win as a wolf

I agree. I was struggling with who to peek. I figured I'd be blocked, but vig took care of that. Peeks are no good any more now. I've essentially been vanillaized again. (I was vanillaized by the wolves as the cop/seer in the MU game referenced earlier).

I try not to think too hard about what the wolves will do because wolves typically do AIDSY things a lot

Ong's a very vocal player and usually gets in to fights with Baudib, but I can't see him taking the stance he did this game as a wolf.

But, Ong's gonna Ong.

Rascal, why did you claim seer?

Ong can do absurdly wolfy things as a wolf and then try to claim "Id obviously never do that as a wolf" but he would be pushing that line pretty hard here f that was the case.

Because I knew I was going to be afk and wouldn't be able to fight against my mislynch which was being pushed by people that I thought were likely villagers and the wolves would jump on it for the mislynch.

Im clearing drew and wuf kinda lightly, but I'm pretty happy with ship being a villa. His vote on hoop didn't look like a bus or a bandwagon hopon, and he had voted him way earlier in the day too. He also had kami in his wolf list, and gator in the villagers

It was his responses to wufwuggy's giant post about how great he was.

He didn't respond to it the first time he was posting in the thread after wufwuggy made it (like he just ignored it) and then a few hours later he came back and responded as if he'd never seen it. Idk if I'm explaining this exactly right but it seemed very unnatural to me and pinged me in a similar way Viggo did.

My apologies for not helping at all recently. To be fair, it hasn't been that long irl... also, I may not be around much for the next dozen hours or so but I'll try my best. I mentioned in D1 that I was possibly going to be afk during D2. It'll be sort of a half arsed attempt. We'll see. Went to a memorial for a close friend today. Wasn't fun. Having a family day.

Anyways, enough with the fluff!

I'll try to address much of the stuff I remember reading while cathing up.

1) I agree with Cory on the village deciding two players at a time. Multiple heads is > 1 vig head.

2) I disagree with Cory that I'm >rando wolf. I'm VV and I actually don't know why I've been on your radar all game. Feel free to elaborate.

3) TY wuf for coming to my defence! I never thought I say that before. Also, TY for sharing that you think I'm smrt. <3 Means a lot coming from you.

4) IDK who the last wolf is but it's not me so I'm voting rilla.

5) Why didn't the wolf nom rascal? I'm sure it has something to do with thinking rascal fakeclaiming. Rascal has to be the seer now tho 100% because no one else has counterclaimed as the real seer, which obv ends the game. So I assume rascal is nommed tonight.

6) Please clarify the following: Could rascal and the tailor have targeted the tailor, resulting in a sort of miss-seer peek? Like, was the player who rascal peked as villager possibly the tailor?

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Typically, long wordy posts are a wolf for BIf but that reads pretty pure

Game theory says the best way the final wolf (11 v 1 btw lol) to win is to indeed have rascal seer the tailored players. Or something along those lines. The point is that it has to be a funky win.

I can't remember who, but someone said something about using rascal to their advantage. It's the only thing that makes sense as to why rascal is still alive.
