Well that was about the worst night imaginable.

Thanks for the deadline extension rascal. We have our work cut out for us if we are going to keep the village win streak going and need all the time we can get to work this shit out.

I need to thoroughly look at how things turned at the end of D1 because at a quick glance something didn't feel right. For one Rilla going hard after Ong just isn't his style so he is at the top of my list. I also need to take a deeper look at mmm. His late D1 posting looks sketchy as hell. He votes for Ong then quickly rescinds and while stating he doesn't have confidence that Ong is a villager moves his vote to JKDS.

Fwiw, I think wuf was just being wuf there so his involvement in the whole thing is pretty neutral.

The ong thing was because I can't read ong at all. I was feeling odd about him, which isn't itself odd. BID said he was thinking ong was wolfy and I ran with it. After only a short reflection, I realized that my vote on ong lacked my own conviction. So I detailed where I could place a vote based off of my own thoughts.

Can you show me this "conviction" for JKDS? The closest I can come is the below post, but even then you were more convinced about rilla than JKDS.

No one joined me on that vote for rilla and I even got some pushback, so I let it go. That vote wasn't going to be a wagon.

You're right that was the post I was thinking of when I said I detailed my thoughts. I thought it was later in the day.

Either way, voting to prevent gabe from getting lynched on D1 was a part of my decision at EOD.

I would really love to hear more from smf...he is criminally underposting.

Both Ong & wuf were on my short list. 40mins before EOD I didn't really like the Ong wagon much but was already on the gabe wagon which was in 2nd. I didn't think it was possible to get another wagon going so close to deadline on thanksgiving.

I missed the last 40mins of the day.

MMM - His posts read very honest to me. I haven't seen anything that looks wolfy or off. Best way I can express it is he seems to want to figure stuff out.

philly - Him not realizing the game isn't over if we miss today is villagery imo. Wolves usually know exactly what the state of play is, could be faking. But I empathize with his confusion so far.

boog - dude is challenging people on lots of stuff.

I'm going to recheck MMM's posts from late yesterday, don't want to just assume he's good.

He calls for a CFD on JKDS with 35mins left, JKDS was suspect throughout the day and the CFD could easily have been a runaway.

No way both JKDS and him are wolves together. We know now that gabe/ong were villagers, there is no benefit for the wolves to do this at EOD.

Yeah, you are probably right here. Once he throws his vote to Ong he is linked to the wagon so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, from a wolf perspective, to then shift away.

I have about a half hour to iso a few people but we at least need the following today:

SMF - you have to get in the game. We can't afford a policy lynch for non performers but also can't leave a total liability alive for end game. If you are a villager you are killing us.

JKDS - I get that you want to totally change up your style of posting because, like baud, your posts always seem wolfy, but you do need to pitch in and help here.

wuf - try to spread your focus around here. If you laser in on another villager (and your recent track record says you will) you could do more damage than help.

He said he read through the russia v america game, but his reads on it have been minimal.
He seemed to just focus on boog D1 and I would think someone just getting back in the game would be more spread out in their thoughts.

At the end of the day I still think Philly is 65-75% villager.

are you really humbled? i see no reason to be humbled. im not sure why everybody is so damn results oriented in their thinking.

at least from my perspective, the way to see that ong wasn't a wolf there was that his play was so divergent from normal that he would have been likely cognizant of that fact as a wolf. ive seen him play the same way once before and i was quite surprised to see he flipped villager then. i guess it has to do with him just being moody or in a "dont care" element. so in that sense i guess i can see being humbled enough to see that twtbaw is really a thing.

this game has been a mess. at least the wolves will finally get a win

His "Oh dear" response to my vote on him gave me a biting gut suspicion that he was villager.

It seemed totally out of character to the ong-wolf I've battled with in the past.

The count before wuf moves to Ong. Why stand in front of the village and push for Ong when there are so many lazier options? Me, Gator, JKDS, SMF, we were all on set-it-and-forget-it votes. Wuf was too.

Not only does he stand out front, but he campaigns. Aside from that, like I said, I thought it was a good read, so did gabe, so did BID, so did wuf.

JKDS has me in a difficult spot. My wolf list makes no sense, given that JKDS has the other 3 as his wolf list. JKDS bussing both of his wolf buddies on early D2 doesn't fit the mold. My wolf list is not good.

@JKDS: Which of your reads are your strongest right now? Which have you a bit uncertain?

If no one is joining me on wuf, then I think rilla and SMF are the top choices. I prefer rilla.

@gator, the reason for me barking up the boog tree is simple, he acted wolfy right off the bat by going after an easy target (someone spazzy that turned out to be a villager) and once he realized that he was going to get some heat for it, he snap reneged. He is continually pushing for my lynch (another easy target and another villager) because i fenced? Ong ( a villager) pointed out a couple of instances of inconsistencies in his tone as well. The majority of the village has cleared him as a villager, so i will relax for the time being and stop being so myopic.

On the other hand boog brings up a great point about a potential Hoopy slip.

He claims wolves know exactly what the state of play is, and then boom he knew exactly what the state of play was. This is somewhat weak by itself, but coupled with the potential wuf slip, the sitting back and just asking questions like "rilla what do you think?" while not really contributing all day 1, makes me think we may have a wolf.

Now that at least 2 of the wagoners on the JKDS train have come up villager, I think that its safe to take him out of my lock villager pile. His logic regarding mmm seems sound to me and i have mmm as one of my villager leans, but this observation is not indicative of alignment

SMF has still not contributed a lick. Reminds me of Flomo when he was a wolf who just hung around not posting shit and just "oh hey guys, my bad, here's a meaningless bold"

As for wuf, i kind of agree with rilla, it would be tough for him to be campaigning the way he would on day 1, but if Hoopy flips W, i think that condemns wuf.

Here is where I started wondering about rilla. He bolds a bunch of words from Ong like "kinda", "really wanna say", etc, which I thought was kind of thin, especially when Ong said that was just how he talked. Here's the thing though. I went back and looked at a bunch of Ong's posts from two prior games and he generally DOESN'T say those things. He is generally more confident so I can certainly see how that would have stood out to rilla.

That line is what was bugging me about rilla, however if I take that tinfoil out of my analysis everything else he has done seems more villager than wolf.

I thought JKDS's post about my post count was off too...it feels like someone who knows i am a villager and wants to be able to take claim for "reading me" as such when i die.
